In classical microinjection treatments, sperm cells are selected in the laboratory by enlarging up to 400 -600 times their existing sizes under microscopy and in this enlargement, the sperm cells that are normally observed are used.
In IMSI method, this enlargement could be increased up to 8000 times. In other words, it is possible to determine that a part of the sperms that could be normally observed that are selected for classical microinjection, may have abnormal structures after this enlargement rate.
